1986 MERCEDES-BENZ 560SEC KOENIG SPECIALS

This is probably the only opportunity to add a bespoke Koenig Styled Mercedes-Benz 560SEC finished in Sunbusrt Yellow over premium leather Yellow interior.

This incredible statement of the 1980’s limitless expression of automotive culture was delivered new in California in 1986 where it spent most of its life until finding its way to Tulsa, OK and subsequently in 2020 to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Under its tenure in Dubai, at renowned luxury boutique Princess Motors, this car underwent a complete recommissioning in Sunburst Yellow with a fine leather interior in matching color with yellow Alcantara headliner, and yellow died wood veneers.  Yellow dials were added to the instrument cluster showing 250,655 miles.  Performance upgrades where added during the process, enhancing the sports feel and matching the exotic appearance of this car.

This car was imported back to the US in 2023 by The Patina Collective and featured on the museum floor and the 2024 Art Basel Miami activation.

Prior to listing, new engine and transmission mounts where installed and a periodic transmission fluid and filter service was performed.

All electric equipment works and the car can be driven in a spirited fashion with performance and transmission response through the gears. Sunroof is inop at the time of listing.

Koenig Specials equipment has the correct stamps and branding.  Records of the equipment are not available.
