Available now is this striking 1990 Mercedes-Benz 500SL Koenig Specials finished in Black (040) a bespoke full leather interior in two tone gray and a Terracotta soft top.

Originally delivered in New York in May of 1990, it was subsequently reimported in Germany as a gray market car during the high demand years of the type R129.  Available German DoT Fahrzeugbrief states the Koenig Specials all the way back to the 90’s adding to the authenticity of an in-period build commission.

Car was imported to the US in 2022 when it underwent a full service at a marque specialist in Boca Raton.  The car has been ever since on display at the Patina Collective collection.

Bespoke equipment includes:

Odometer shows only ca, 68K Kilometers ~ 42K Miles and it is consistent with the general condition of this car. Terracotta soft top operates as shown in the available demonstration video.  A hardtop is not available with the sale.

Car comes with German Fahrzeugbrief covering many years of ownership history going back to the 1990s, TüV records, and a clean Florida title.
